Pre-existing conditions exclusion will be waived if you purchase this plan within 14 days of your initial trip payment and you are medically capable of travel on the date you purchase this plan.

Bankruptcy coverage is included provided you purchase this plan within 14 days of your initial trip deposit and that the bankruptcy filing occurs more than 15 days after the full payment and acceptance of your enrollment by us.

Terrorism is included for a terrorist act that occurs in a country which is part of your trip which caused the United States Department of State to issue a Travel Warning that you should not travel to that country for a period of time that would include your trip.

Cancel For Any Reason Option

Unsure about traveling in these unsettled times? You are not alone. Now you can purchase "Cancel for Any Reason" Plan.

This coverage will allow you to cancel your trip and reschedule at a later date, within 12 months of your original travel date, less a 20% processing fee.

What happens when I cancel?

You simply call Traveler Protection Service Inc at 888-707-0213 and request a cancellation form. After completing the form you will be issued a "Travel Certificate" good for the value of your original trip, less any refundable fees paid to you, and the 20% processing fee valid for a future trip of your choosing (equal or lesser value) purchased from the same travel supplier who booked your trip you canceled.  Your new trip need not be to the same destination as the one canceled.

When you are ready to purchase your next trip, present your travel certificate to your travel supplier and we will take care of the rest.

How do I purchase this coverage?

You must have purchased the basic Traveler Protection Service product to be eligible to purchase the "Cancel for Any Reason" plan. Mark the appropriate box on your application for enrollment, and pay the required cost. There are no age restrictions or payment penalties and you may purchase up to final payment, but the option must be purchased at the same time as the basic plan.
