Disney Cruise Specials and Discounts
|
|
From its inception, Disney Cruise Line was destined to be different. As the first owned and operated cruise line by the dream makers at Disney, Disney Cruise Line specifically designed its ships with areas and activities that appeal to the unique vacation needs of every member of the family. As a result, Disney Cruise Line vacations offer guests an unbelievable cruise experience not found anywhere else. In addition to offering seven-night cruise vacations to the Caribbean, Disney Cruise Line offers three- and four-night itineraries to the Bahamas and land/sea vacation packages which include a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort. New for 2007, Disney Cruise Line will reposition the Disney Magic to the Port of Barcelona for the summer and offer alternating 10-night and 11-night Mediterranean cruise vacations to Europe for the first time.

| Disney Cruise Lines Kids Program
Only a Disney Cruise Line vacation gives families so many ways to play together, and separately. With practically an entire deck devoted to kids, there's non-stop fun each day from 9am to midnight for five distinct age groups. Kids ages 3 to 7 make magic at Disney's Oceaneer Club. Kids ages 8 to 12 explore the universe at Disney's Oceaneer Lab. Teens enjoy their own private hangout at a New York-style coffeehouse called Common Grounds.
Disney's Oceaneer Club (ages 3-7) & Disney's Oceaneer Lab (ages 8-12)
Only Disney can take little cruisers on a daily voyage to a world devoted to fun and fantasy. Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab offer age-specific activities guaranteed to transport young minds to the edge of their imagination. Guided along the way by Disney counselors, of course. Parents sign their children in and out and, as an added convenience, parents are given pagers so families are always in touch. A sampling of available activities follows.
Disney's Oceaneer Club
Ages 3-4
Mouseketeer Training/Inspection: Children train to be Mouseketeers, practice marching, match up Disney Friends, and watch a video clip of a 1950's Mouseketeer show opening. Mickey Mouse comes to inspect his new Mouseketeers and lead them in a march to the Lab.
Where's Tinkerbell? An adventure with clues to help find Tink's hiding place. Hopefully, she will make a very magical appearance.
Hat's off to Peter Pan: Help celebrate everybody's birthday in Never Land, but watch out for Captain Hook who wants to break up the party.
Ages 5-7
So You Want to be a Pirate? There's a pirate onboard! Never fear, he's only on hand to tell children adventurous stories tracing the history of buccaneers through time. Captain Hook may even stop by to visit his old friend.
Eggsperiments: Young scientists will discover things you can do with one household egg--things that you would never think were possible.
Professor Goo's Magical Experiments: Young scientists join Professor Goo to explore a squishy green substance that looks like "Flubber"!
Disney's Oceaneer Lab
Ages 8-9
Apprentice's Workshop: In this workshop, Disney's young apprentices will encounter solid liquids and make their own batch of "Flubber-like Goo!"
Quackmation: The secrets of Disney animation are unlocked as kids learn to draw our "favorite fowl" using classic animation tools.
Now a Word from our Sponsor: Kids get the chance to be a part of the talented cast of producers, directors, and stars in TV spots.
Ages 10-12
Science Scorcery: Things are not always as they seem - using the magic of science, come conjure up some goo!
Goofin' Around with Animation: Kids learn animators' secrets as they draw one of Disney's characters, Goofy.
This Just In: Rookie news teams produce a newscast that's filled with up-to-the-minute fun!
Teen Activities
Common Grounds
It's the ultimate place to hang. A New York-style coffee house complete with music, games and large-screen TV, even an Internet Café, Common Grounds is a place for teens ages 13 to 17 to meet on their own terms.
The Glow Jam
Disney lights the night with their Glow Jam! Teens can use a glowing array of sports equipment or just hang out and listen to music. These sports are as much fun to watch as they are to play!
Teen Karaoke
Future rock stars are invited to Studio Sea for the audition of their lives and to showcase their talents.
Teen Hawaiian Pool Party
Teens should not miss this farewell party. They'll enjoy dancing, pool games, Float Ball, pass the Orange, enter the Cannonball Contest, and win at Ping Pong and Shuffleboard.
Baby-sitting
Group baby-sitting is available for children 12 weeks to 3 years old in Flounder's Reef Nursery. Guests must sign up their children between 1:30pm and 3:30pm on embarkation day. There is a fee of $6 per child per hour, and $5 per additional child per hour, 2-hour minimum required. The facility is open daily. Rates and times are subject to change and services are subject to availability. Please note: All children 3 (and potty trained) to 12 years old are welcome to join us. For the safety and enjoyment of all, Disney's operation has been designed for children to participate in age-appropriate groups, which allows them to interact both socially and comfortably with peers of their own age and size. Disney is unable to provide one-on-one care.
