The Discovery Centre offers a variety of excursions to discover the country.

The program of the excursions and the prices are given for information only. Prices can change during the season according to the current rate of the country. Excursions have to be paid on the premises with local currency.

* Canoeing/Kayaking (1/2D) Accompanied by a qualified guide, explore the wealth of flora and fauna in this exceptional natural environment: the mangrove , the biggest lagoon in the Lesser Antilles.

* Catamaran trip to Petite-Terre (1 D.)

Islands as you have only dreamed of, protected by the ONF (National Forest Organization).Walk through the identified paths and encounter the locals: iguanas. Swim in the turquoise waters on the edge of the coral reef. For your information:

* Grande-Terre by jeep (1/2 day).
Guided tour of the East part of the island, sugar cane plantations, the colonial house of Xevallos , a varied culture and incredible golden sandy beaches!

* La Soufrière walk (1 day)
A trek on the roof of the little West Indies for a climb off the beaten paths on this mysterious volcano.

* Les Saintes by catamaran (1 day)
Dock at Terre-de-Haut, in the most beautiful bay in the Antilles! Fishermen, colorful houses, surprising population

Visit Fort Napoleon, the exotic garden (observe the iguanas), panoramic view of the bay. Cocktails on the beach front facing the Pain de Sucre (Sugarloaf mountain), local lunch. Swim and relax...

* Marie Galante, by catamaran (1 day)
For lovers of sailing, the sea and unspoilt islands.

Lunch on the catamaran after crossing the land with its beautiful Creole huts.

Visit to a family-run distillery and rum tasting, visit to Habitation Murat and view of "Gueule grand gouffre".

* North of Basse-Terre by jeep (1day)
Guided tour of the back-country by jeep: banana, pineapple and sugar cane plantations.

Enjoy the various types of fruits. Creole lunch on the shore of a very beautiful beach. Short walk in the rain forest of North Basse-Terre.

* Pointe-à-Pitre (1/2 day)
In the heart of the old town and of its colorful streets, stroll around the market which overflows with spices, vegetables, fruits and flowers.

Taste the best punches in the Madras rum distillery. Shopping in local shops.

* Tropical adventure (1 day)
Splendid day to discover the luxurious nature of Guadeloupe, stop off at the shrimp water fall and then discover the Mamelles Park.
