If travel is meant to be savored, then crossing the oceans should be a majestic experience, not merely a hop across the pond. For travelers of this persuasion, only one name evokes the pleasures of a golden era: Cunard Line. Proudly continuing the tradition of luxury cruising that began in 1840, Queen Mary 2 debuted in 2004 as the new flagship of The Most Famous Ocean Liners in the World. As the tallest, longest, largest, and most expensive cruise ship ever built, QM2 provides her guests with unprecedented amenities and accommodations at every turn. Maintaining the tradition of her Cunard and White Star Line predecessors, QM2 is the only ship offering regularly scheduled Transatlantic service. Queen Elizabeth 2 continues to set the standard of British elegance with superb White Star Service and gourmet cuisine. Sailing a definitive World Cruise and round-trip Southampton voyages, QE2 endures as one of the greatest liners of her time. Queen Victoria joins the fleet in 2007. Cunard caters to sophisticated, well-seasoned travelers who enjoy the finer things in life. The classic liners attract like-minded guests who enjoy the Cunard hallmarks of impeccable White Star Service℠, fine dining, sumptuous surroundings, civilized adventure and the legacy of historic voyages and Transatlantic travel. Cunard Line is a proud member of the Carnival Corporation, which also includes Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Costa Cruises, Windstar Cruises, and Seabourn Cruise Line. These lines appeal to a wide range of lifestyles and budgets, but share a passion to please each guest, and a commitment to quality and value.

| Cunard's Youth Program
Cunard offers a children's program onboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 and the Queen Mary 2, but not on the Caronia.
Queen Elizabeth 2
On the QE2 there are a wide range of programs and activities offered to children between 7 and 17 years old, like outdoor activities on the sports deck, the children's afternoon tea, Disco night, Karaoke, movie night, and even a talent show. The program also offers activities tailored for specific age groups, such as:
-
Children ages 7-17 are Junior Cruisers and able to select from activities such as arts and crafts, dance classes, scavenger hunts, board games, bingo, ice cream parties and much more.
-
Teenagers ages 13-17 are Teen Cadets and able to select from activities such as teen survivor, trivia games, murder mysteries, charades, ping-pong tournaments and more.
Queen Mary 2
Cunard refers to its kids' program on the Queen Mary 2 as the Zone. The Zone provides daily fun-filled activities for children between 1 and 12 years old, plus a fresh and exclusive program of activities for teens up to 17 years old. Like a well-run summer camp, The Zone activities are designed to ensure a memorable family holiday experience.
Children's Coordinators
Cunard only recruits the highest quality staff to run the children's programs. The Zone staff are qualified British Nannies and university/college educated Children's Coordinators in fields such as education, childcare, or sports with a minimum of 3 years experience working with children in nurseries, private families, schools or summer camps.
Activities
Fun is what the Zone is all about. The Zone provides a unique variety of activities within a daily 'theme' so that if your child is on a Treasure Hunt, Touring the Sip or at the QM2 Olympics, their holiday experience will become an exciting adventure. Painting, Arts and Crafts, Pirate Parties and Showcase Cinemas are just a taste of what they can expect. Due to the hot weather on the cruises, we advise the children to 'Slip', 'Slop', 'Slap', - 'Slip' on a T-shirt, 'Slop' on the sun cream and 'Slap' on a hat. For all those young cruisers, please bring a changing bag and comforters.
Meals
The Chefs Galley provides a special Children's Tea from 5:00pm - 6:00pm daily, with parental supervision required. We encourage parents to pick up their children for all meals on Sea Days as lunch is not provided. However on Port Days, we will provide lunch for children whose parents are booked on tours. Please be made aware that on port days a booking system will be in place.
Signing In/Out
Safety is a top priority at The Zone. We want you to feel assured that your children are in good hands and completely safe. For this reason, we operate a registration process by which you sign in your children to the care of the Zone staff at the beginning of the session, and sign them back out at the end. Children aged 10 and over can sign themselves in and out of the Zone.
Registration
Important: Before your children join The Zone, they need to fill out a registration form, which will be available straight after the boat drill, on the first day of the voyage, so the children do not miss out on any of the fun!
